🛵 Anti-Social Behaviour & Off-Road Vehicle Misuse

We’ve completed multiple patrols this week in response to ongoing concerns about Anti-social behaviour and the illegal use of off-road motorbikes, e-bikes, and e-scooters. These vehicles are often used in ways that are unsafe and disruptive to the community.

We are also working with local schools to raise awareness among parents about the risks of purchasing these vehicles for children this Christmas. Many are not road legal and can lead to enforcement action if misused.

💊 Drug Use & Dealing

We’ve received intelligence regarding drug use and dealing in Thringstone, Whitwick, and Greenhill. Investigations are currently underway and officers are actively monitoring these areas.

🚗 Road Safety – Speeding, Parking & Impaired Driving

Officers have been addressing concerns around speeding, dangerous parking (particularly near schools), and drivers under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

✅ School visits have been completed and advice given to several drivers regarding parking responsibly.
✅ A vehicle was seized on Church Lane in Whitwick for having no road tax and no MOT.

We will continue to take action to improve road safety and protect all road users.
